Spring is in the air at One:Nine Boutique, and the styling floor is filled with color & Spring/Summer 2023’s hottest styles. You’ll see everything this season from the softest neutrals + brightest of brights (hello, key lime & pink), to wide-leg trousers & denim + tailored classics. We’ve rounded up some of our favorite wearable trends for Spring/Summer 2023, and if you’re anything like us, we’re cleaning out our closets to make room for all the new. (Pro-tip: do yourself a favor and add a few packs of the thin velvet hangers to your next Target drive-up order…we’ll be filling ours with alllll the goodies below)

Pops of Color: Give us allll the key lime, pink + soft blues, which are the hottest colors of the season! We’re seeing them everywhere in all categories of fashion. Add a bold pop of color or opt for a more muted shade. Either way, you’re going to want to mix in some of these colors this season. How we’re styling this trend: Add a pop of color to every category in your closet–tops, basics, bottoms, jackets, blazers, accessories.

Relaxed Denim: Think elevated mom jeans +  jackets with an oversized fit. How we’re styling this trend: The key to styling relaxed denim is to pair them with something more fitted, structured or something that flatters your shape so you don’t get lost in your outfit. Although denim jeans + jackets may be a looser fit, we still want to have some shape. Try pairing a looser fitting bottom with a more fitted top or give a top some more shape by half tucking or tying it. If you’re wearing an oversized denim jacket/shacket, try pairing something more fitted under it or something with a little more shape on the bottom.

Wide-leg bottoms: While a great pair of skinny jeans remains classic and a closet staple, one of our favorite trends for Spring/Summer 2023 is the wide-leg bottom. How we’re styling this trend: We can’t wait to wear our wide-leg trouser pants & denim with our Sorel sandals this season. We also love that the wide-leg bottom have the capability to take you from the office to your dinner-date. Pair wide-leg bottoms with a tucked graphic tee & cropped blazer, ribbed fitted basic & blazer, or with a floral blouse. Speaking of floral…

Flower Power: Floral has been reinvented; it’s bold, bright and we love the feminine flare with a touch of boldness. How we’re styling this trend: Pair your floral prints with your wide-leg denim or cut-off shorts in the warmer months. We’re also loving the bright + bold floral print dresses we have this season for all of your dressy Spring/Summer events.

Elevated Basics: Think styles you’d include in your ‘capsule wardrobe’. Clean lines, neutral tones (+ some pops of color!), + simplicity for everyday wear. How we’re styling this trend: These are going to be the most versatile pieces in your wardrobe! Mix + match them together for a chic, classic look or pair these pieces with a more trendy style to give them a fresh look. Either way, these are the staples in your closet + can be thought of as the building blocks of your outfit.

Tailored Classics: Think matching blazer + short sets,  structured or cropped blazers, trouser pants & shorts, and your classic button-down in every color. How we’re styling this trend: All of these pieces are great for layering and elevate your look. Adding a structured blazer or jacket over a graphic or fitted basic takes your look to the next level, and adding a classic button-down in any color to your wardrobe is the perfect lightweight layering piece! Crochet: Always a hit in the warmer weather seasons, but we’re seeing so many fun styles this year! Think open weave styles that are vacation ready. How we’re styling this trend: Matching sets don’t stop with loungewear + structured jackets & pants, matching crochet sets are all the rage this season. We’re styling ours with a denim jacket + adding an extra layer with our ribbed tanks. This will be an easy go-to outfit this Summer with our Sorel Sandal.
